Course print packs and the Designs Library

·

Course print packs (at /designer/events) let course designers group saved layouts for a competition weekend and batch-print master-plan PDFs with shared cover options.

This is not the same as Events / Show Manager, which handles public calendars, online entries, start lists, and results.

Designs library tab

  • Search by course name, standard, or level.
  • Open any saved design directly in the designer.
  • Link to pack pre-selects the course when creating a new print pack.

Trashed courses stay in the Dashboard recycle bin — only active designs appear in the library.

How to use a print pack

  1. Design and save courses in the 2D designer.
  2. Open Course print packs and click New print pack (or Link to pack from the library).
  3. Name the weekend (e.g. “Summer SJ League — Round 3”), set venue/date if you like, and tick the courses.
  4. Choose PDF pages — cover, master plan, build table, technical details — matching the designer Export panel.
  5. Click Export PDFs to download one master plan per course with shared pack metadata on the cover.

Tips

  • Save your preferred page selection once; it persists on your profile for both the designer Export panel and pack batch export.
  • Use print packs for secretary / builder / judge paper. Use Events when you need entries, scheduling, or live scoring.
