Founder — Alex Young

Alex Young is the founder of YardForge. I started YardForge after watching my wife struggle to figure out what kind of courses to build. So much of this sits behind expensive designers, and regular riders just want something they can actually use. I built it for the little guys who just want a bit of fun.

Why we built it

Most ordinary riders do not need a full professional design service. They need related distances that make sense, a plan they can print, and a tool that does not cost the earth. That is what YardForge is for.

The standards we validate against

Live checks model FEI Jumping Rules 2026 and the British Showjumping Rule Book (2025 tables), plus Hunter and Unaffiliated guidance. Optional one-click Apply fixes only run when you choose them.
