Course plan print pack for a one-day unaffiliated show

You do not need a championship document pack for a one-day unaffiliated. You do need paper that still makes sense when the laptop dies and the course builder is already in the ring.

YardForge can export master, athlete, builder and judge PDFs. For a single ring, one day, print three.

If you are grouping more than one class under a weekend, see the designs library notes.

Print these

Builder plan: fence type, height, number, and where the cups go. This is the one that gets muddy. Put it in a plastic wallet.

Athlete / walk plan: track, numbers, start and finish. No cup heights. Riders will photograph this on the fence. If the related distances are tight, write the stride count on the line.

Judge / time sheet: start, finish, time allowed if you are timing, and the jump-off fence list. One page.

Leave on the laptop

The 3D view, the AR walk, the full master plan with every annotation, and yesterday's draft of class 4. If the organiser wants the master plan, email it.

One ring, four classes

Build the 70 cm first. Duplicate the course in the designer and change heights and one question for 80 and 90. Keep fence numbers in the same places so the builder is not moving wings all morning.

Export a builder PDF per class, with the height in the filename. "Saturday-ring1.pdf" is how the wrong cups go on fence 5.

Before you leave the house

Arena size in the file matches the real school. Standard is Unaffiliated or Hunter, not leftover FEI from last week. Fence 1 is not on the gate. Jump-off fences are listed on the judge sheet. You have a spare copy of the builder plan.

Open the designer, finish the 70 cm, duplicate, print, go.
