YardForge Course Designer — Introduction
·
YardForge is a browser-based show jumping course designer for UK and FEI builders. You work on a scaled plan canvas, connect fences into a ridden route, validate against BS or FEI rules, and export role-specific PDFs — without installing desktop software.
What you can do
- Place verticals, oxers, combinations, start/finish, and schooling obstacles on a metre-accurate grid.
- Shape the ridden path with path control points and live stride distances.
- Run Project → Validate project… for BS/FEI checks and optional guided fixes.
- Open Project → Display options… for path chrome, labels, and canvas preferences; View for grid, zoom, and school circles.
- Preview in 3D or AR on supported phones (Project → 3D visualisation).
- Save designs to your account (Project → Designs…) and group them into course print packs for batch PDF export.
Where to start
- Open the course designer and set arena size (Project → Arena size…) + competition standard.
- Read how to design a show jumping course for the full build workflow.
- Use the course design help hub for topic-based guides on validation, export, rounds, and schooling.
- Browse ready layouts in the Course Gallery and load a template into the designer.
