YardForge release notes: 11 October 2026
A short week-note for what’s live on YardForge right now. YardForge is still in alpha, free, with nothing on sale.
This note covers changes that went live between Monday 5 and Sunday 11 October. Anything we couldn’t confirm on the live site isn’t in here.

There’s now a single Release notes page listing what shipped on live YardForge, newest first. This note will sit there too.
3D and AR wording
We tidied how the site describes 3D and AR so it says the same thing everywhere. In-app 3D and AR viewing are on Pro, or an active Pro trial, and anyone with a shared course link can open 3D.
“In short” summaries on guides
Some of our riding and course-design guides, including Show jumping distances explained, now open with a short “In short” summary so you get the main point before the detail.
Events page colours
We fixed the colours on the events page so text and cards read properly in both light and dark mode.
Smaller tidy-ups
- The site footer now links to our Facebook page.
- The homepage now says plainly that the designer is free during alpha.
- The yard management page now describes in-app reminders, which is what the app does.
- Instructor listings no longer show a “Verified” label. Qualifications are as the instructor lists them.
Still in alpha
- Nothing is on sale and there is no live PayPal.
- The designer is a planning aid. Check final distances against the rule book and your show’s course designer.
