YardForge release notes, 4 October 2026

A short week-note for what’s live on YardForge right now. YardForge is still in alpha. There is no live PayPal, nothing here takes card payments.

This note covers the Saturday 3 October Designer Hosting ship and the follow-on blank-PDF hotfix. Monday’s combined batch is not in this note, it is not live yet.

Designer, cloud save and reopen

On live Designer, saving a course to device + cloud and opening it again keeps the plan you built: class, arena size, and fences stay with the course after reload and after Load → Cloud (verified on live for a fresh save on 3 October).

If a phone or laptop tab still looks stuck on an old shell after a Hosting push, hard-refresh (or use a private window).

Export → PDF, blank default course fixed

Toolbar Export → PDF was briefly exporting an empty default plan instead of the course on screen. That blank export is fixed on live for courses opened from a saved design.

Before you print, still check the PDF cover: course name, arena, class and fence count should match what you see on the canvas. If anything looks off, save first, tick the course in Saved designs, then export again.

Still alpha / still in flight

No live PayPal / no card take on YardForge this week.
Some older cloud saves can still reopen with a default class or arena until Monday’s header work lands, re-pick class and arena if you see that, then save again.
PDF cover labels can still disagree with the drawn arena on some cloud opens; Eng has a follow-up for that.
Designer remains a planning aid, confirm finals with the rule book and your show’s course designer of record.
